We understand that this project will naturally attract generous people. Some of you may want to give money. Some of you may want to volunteer in some capacity. Some of you may have other ideas. If there's anything you'd like to do for us, we'd certainly appreciate it, though we're not ready to be tax-deductible yet.
These are a few things we could use some help with, if you're interested. They're in priority order:
- Some server-side programming assistance, CGI and fairly advanced Perl, in a Solaris environment;
- we really need a logo. We've gotten enough offers to do a logo that we're going to have a contest. Contact us first if you want to enter, we'll tell you what we have in mind;
- punching up the general appearance of this site a bit. If you'd like to help us with that, please send us some links to some of your work. We actually aren't looking to make radical changes to the appearance of this site. We'd just like it to be a little more appealing.
- printing and distributing cards;
- international card distribution (we're at a bit of a loss about how to do this cost-effectively);
- anything else you think we may need.
We really are at the beginning of this project. We'd appreciate any help you'd be willing to give. If you'd like to pitch in please contact us.
